V-Hawks Miss Bracket Play, Finish Fifth

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Bowling team finished fifth at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational on Sunday, held at Rolling Thunder Lanes, with a total score of 6998. Coe College (Iowa) was the Tournament Champions, topping Carthage College in bracket play.

Viterbo came into Day Two of the contest in fifth place after scoring 4672 on Day One. They were just 17 pins behind UW-Oshkosh coming into the day, but were unable to catch the Titans. The V-Hawks scored a total of 2326 in Baker play (636, 538, 599, 553), while the Titans scored 2472 (599, 664, 614, 595) to claim the final bracket play spot.

The V-Hawks return to the lanes December 3 and 4 for the Warhawks Open.
