McCurdy Named NSAA Player of the Week
BICMARCK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially announced the 11th Edition of their Women's Basketball Player of the Week, and Viterbo's Emily McCurdy has been selected as the league's top performer. This is her first time winning the award.
The Junior Forward from St. Croix Falls, Wis. led the V-Hawks to a 2-0 week, including an 84-80 overtime win over Valley City State University (ND) where she scored 22 points, including the final six point of the game, grabbed four rebounds, and recorded three steals. The next night, VU topped Dickinson State (ND) 66-44, with McCurdy scoring 18 points. On the week, she totaled 40 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
The V-Hawks return to action on Friday, February 2 as they host Dakota State University (SD).
