V-Hawks Set to Play Exhibition at NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Basketball team will travel to Milwaukee for an exhibition game against NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee tonight, with tip-off at 7 PM.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams, as Viterbo took on UW-Milwaukee in an exhibition game in 2019, losing 106-43.

The V-Hawks are in the midst of playing three games in three days. Last night, Viterbo topped St. Ambrose University (Iowa) 66-65 with a tip-in game-winner by Emily McCurdy. Following tonight's game, the V-Hawks travel to St. Francis University (Ill.) for their final game of 2023. VU defeated St. Francis 65-43 at home on November 15.

The Panthers, who sit at 6-6 on the year, are coming off a 59-52 win over Eastern Illinois on December 15. Kendall Nead, who earned the Horizon League Player of the Weke on Monday, leads the team, scoring 18.8 points per game, while Kamy Peppler and Angie Cera are each adding double digits. Tonight's matchup will be the final non-conference game of the season for Milwaukee.

The game will be available to watch on ESPN+, with the Radio call on Milwaukee's Black & Gold Network, and Live Stats on UW-Milwaukee's website.
