Leguizamon Named Player of the Week

BISMARK, N.D. – Natalia Leguizamon, a Junior guard on the Viterbo University Women's Basketball team has been named the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. This is the seventh edition of the award this season, and Leguizamon's second time earning the honor.

Leguizamon, a Milwaukee, Wis. native, led the V-Hawks last week by averaging 18.0 points over two games. She also added six steals, six rebounds, two assists, and a block over the week.

"Natalia has been doing a tremendous job on and off the court for us there is no one more deserving," said Head Coach Lionel Jones.

Leguizamon and the V-Hawks look to bounce back from a three-game losing streak as they travel to Hawaii for the University of Hawaii-Hilo Malika Classic to take on Morningside University (Iowa) and Arizona Christian University.
