Kennedy and Burgess recognized at the conference level

WATERTOWN, S.D. - The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced the 2021-22 women's basketball All-Conference teams and postseason awards at the honors reception on Friday evening. 

Kaitlyn Kennedy was selected by the conference coaches as Second Team All-Conference based on her performance this season. Kennedy scored a team-high 240 points in her junior season and shot an impressive 42.9 percent from the floor. She converted a career and team-high 29 three-pointers. She recorded 36 assists and 66 rebounds as well. Kaitlyn also had a team-high free throw percentage of 68.6 percent. This is Kennedy's first All-Conference honors.

Senior Justyne Burgess was named the teams' Champion of Character recipient.
