V-Hawks fall short to Hastings

TUSCON, Ari. - The Viterbo University Softball team played a double-header against Hastings College at their annual "Spring Training" games. The V-Hawks lost 2-7 in seven innings in game one before dropping game two 3-16 in five innings.
In game one, the Broncos were able to score four of the seven innings with three runs in the sixth inning. Amanda Bogdonovich was able to put the first run on the board in the sixth inning followed by Brittney Slocum adding the second run of the two total runs in game one.
The Broncos came out strong in the second game scoring nine of their sixteen runs in the fourth inning. Slocum contributed again adding one of the three total runs scored by the V-Hawks.
