Bio

Marcia Taddy joined Viterbo in June of 2023 and enters her first year as the V-Hawks Head Coach.

Prior to joining the V-Hawks, Taddy was an Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 2021-23, and from 2009-2017. From 2017-2021, she was an Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at UW-La Crosse.

During her collegiate career, Taddy spent one year as a full-ride scholarship athlete for Cross Country and Track and Field at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After transferring to UW-Platteville, Taddy put together one of the most decorated careers in NCAA history. She was a 17-time All-American between Cross Country and Track and Field, an eight-time National Track Champion, and a two-time NCAA DIII Track Athlete of the Year and Track Athlete of the National Meet. She collected 19 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) titles, being named the WIAC Female Track Athlete of the Meet 6 times and the Midwest Regional Track/CC Athlete of the Year 5 times. Three times she was the UW-Platteville Female Athlete of the Year, and academically she was an ESPN CoSIDA 1st team Academic All-American in 2008, the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2006, and the UWP Scholar Athlete of the Year twice. All of her accomplishments have earned her spots in the USTFCCCA NCAA DIII Track and Field Hall of Fame, the WIAA Track and Field Hall of Fame Inductee, and on the WIAC All Century Track and Field Team.

Taddy and her husband Corey live in LA Crosse with their kids, Jace and Iris.
