V-Hawks take Sixth at CCAC Championships
BETTENDORF, Iowa – The Viterbo University Men's Cross Country team competed at the CCAC Conference Championships on Saturday morning placing sixth as a team, with six athletes competing in the 8k.
St. Francis (IL) won the CCAC crown with 39 points, and Isaac Sytsma of Saint Xavier (IL) was the individual champion with a time of 24:45.8.
Micah Beise was the top performer for the V-Hawks, finishing 53rd with a time of 28:20.1. Connor Martin's time of 28:59.8 earned him 65th place, Garrett Eick took 70th with a mark of 29:29.0, and Ben Fleuchaus came in 71st at 29:31.3 just behind Eick. Andrew Kaja was the final scorer in 85th with a time of 31:34.2 and Jake Tank was the final finisher in 98th and a mark of 36:10.1.
