V-Hawks Compete in Jim Drews Invite
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Cross Country team competed at the UW-La Crosse Annual Jim Drews Invitational Saturday afternoon taking 19th as a team, with five athletes competing in the 8k.
UW-La Crosse took home the team title with a score of 23, with six finishers in the top 10. Mohammed Bati of Augsburg claimed the individual title with a time of 24:06.0.
Micah Beise and Connor Martin were the first finishers for the V-Hawks with consecutive times of 29:56.6 and 30:04.1. With a time of 31:02.8, senior Ben Fleuchaus would finish with Andrew Kaja following at 33:21.9. The final finisher for the V-Hawks would be Jake Tank with a time 39:19.3
The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, November, 9 in Bettendorf, Iowa for the conference title at the CCAC Conference Championships.
