V-Hawks Fall in Final Regular Season Home Game

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo Men's Volleyball team fell to Judson University on Tuesday evening in their final home game of the season. The V-Hawks sink to 4-29 (CCAC 0-11), the Eagles rise to 13-12 (CCAC 7-5).

Max Dugan would set up Ethan Davis for the first kill of the night, Riley Connors following shortly with a kill of his own. A very close set would let Burton Bosan Jr. claim an ace, Alex Kratzenstein then taking back-to-back kills from Logan Amdur. On a four-point run for the V-Hawks Davis would grab a pair of kills bolstered by Stryk Myhre with another.

The V-Hawks slow start would end on a block by Connors, Davis and Myhre. Connors carrying momentum would grab a kill before Kratzenstein would sneak past a few more before an error would end the second set.

Amdur would take a quick kill at the net off a Davis serve. On a quick three-point run Connors would claim a kill from Justin Kratzenstein before smacking down a kill himself. Davis, with a pair of kills, would keep the V-Hawks within reach before overtaking the lead with twice the errors by the Eagles.

Viterbo would grab the first kill, Davis following the first with another two, Connors also taking a kill from Amdur. Davis on the serve would claim an ace followed by Connors with the kill.

Davis led the V-Hawks with 15 kills, Amdur with 28 assists, and Dugan with 14 digs. Mason Snodgrass led the Eagles with 16 kills and nine digs.

The V-Hawks return to action Saturday, April 12 at Trinity Christian for their final regular season matchup.
