Banda, Kerkman Receive All-Conference Honors
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has officially released it' 2024 Men's Volleyball All-Conference teams, and two V-Hawks have been honored by the conference.
Juan Banda, Sr., Libero, Dexter, NM – Banda led the CCAC with digs/set, which also ranked fourth in the entire NAIA, for a total count of 292 (4th in CCAC, 8th in NAIA). The number also sets the Viterbo single-season record. Additionally, Banda led the V-Hawks with 523 receptions and added 140 assists, 11 service aces, and 11 kills.
Dane Kerkman, Sr., PIN, Racine, Wis. – Kerkman was among the conference leaders in total blocks (89, 3rd) and blocks per set (.98, 4th), which broke his own single season Viterbo record. Both marks also rank top-20 nationwide. He was fourth in the team with 141 kills on .226 hitting, recorded 27 digs, and added 17 service aces.
