Banda honored in final CCAC Men's Volleyball weekly awards

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) announced its final edition of the Men's Volleyball Player of the Week award. Viterbo University's own Juan Banda received his first-ever weekly award as he was honored as the CCAC Defender of the Week. 

In two games, Banda collected 27 digs, averaging 4.5 digs per set. On Tuesday, Banda dug up 15 balls in a three-set match against Judson before collecting 12 digs in a three-set win over Cardinal Stritch on Thursday. Banda also collected 12 kills and three aces for the week. This is the first weekly award for the V-Hawks this season.
