Men's Volleyball sweeps Maranatha Baptist

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's Volleyball team defeated Maranatha Baptist University in three sets (25-19, 25-13, 25-16) at home on Thursday night. This is the third win in a row for the V-Hawk men.

Joe Todd () finished at the top in kills for the V-Hawks with six. Jacob Nonn (Jr. - Cross Plains, Wis.), Spencer Persad (Fr. - Milwaukie, Ore.), and Alex Kratzenstein (Fr. - Littleton, Colo.) each finished with four. The second set was the strongest for Viterbo and the team had their highest hitting percentage in this set (.353).

Andrew LePage (Jr. - Cross Plains, Wis.) ended the night with 24 assists and 11 digs. Thomas Robson (Sr. - Middleton, Wis.) also had 11 digs in the game. Viterbo had nine service aces as well, two coming from Todd, Juan Banda (So. - Dexter, NM), and Andy Roungtakoun (Jr. - Rockford, Ill.).

The Men's Volleyball team (6-6) will remain home on Saturday for their triangular. They will host both #10 Saint Xavier University and Mount Mercy University. Game times for the Viterbo men will be 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The games will be open to a limited number of Viterbo family and friends only.
