V-Hawks Claim Fourth in Dubuque
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team competed on Saturday afternoon in the University of Dubuque Mississippi River Rumble claiming fourth of five.
Gabe Holderby led the V-Hawks with a first place finish in the javelin with a qualifying "B" Standard throw of 59.65m (195-8.0) ranking #11 in the NAIA.
Colin Adams first place high jump performance with a height of 1.90m (6-2.75) and fourth place long jump of 6.36m (20-10.5) would keep the V-Hawks on the leaderboard. Brandon Ferguson would also claim fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.34. With a vault of 3.50m (11-5.75) Bryson Fischer would place sixth, while Hunter Pickard would also place sixth in the triple jupm with a distance of 11.58m (38-0).
The V-Hawks return to the field Saturday April 12th at the Bethel Invitational.
