
Anderson, Holderby Set to Compete at Championship Meet
MARION, Ind. – The NAIA has officially released the qualifiers for the 2024 Outdoor Men's Track and Field Championships, held at Indiana Wesleyan University May 22-24. Two V-Hawks have qualified to compete in three events.
Jalen Anderson returns to the national meet in the 110-meter hurdles, hitting NAIA Qualifying A or B standard at every meet of the outdoor season. His best time came at the Minnesota State Open, finishing in 14.27 seconds. He also qualified in the 100-meter dash, with his best time and new school record time of being recorded at the NSAA Outdoor Championship Meet at 10.41.
Gabe Holderby makes his first appearance at the National Championships, qualifying in the Javelin Throw. Holderby qualified at the first meet of the year, then reached A standard at the Drake Relays, with the second-best mark in Viterbo history, a throw of 59.47m (195'1").
The 110-hurdles prelims start on May 23 at 1:15 pm, with the finals at 1:30 pm on the 24th. The 100-meter dash prelims start on the 23rd at 2:40 pm, with the finals at 2:00 pm on Friday. The Javelin Throw starts on the 22nd at 2:30 pm.
