Anderson Named NSAA Athlete of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association has released the first edition of their Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, and Viterbo's Jalen Anderson was selected as the Track Athlete of the Week. He is joined by Waldorf's Wade Baker as the Field Athlete of the Week.

Anderson ran a in a pair of events at the University of Texas Relays over the weekend, competing against Division I talent. He won his heat in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.61, which qualified him for the NAIA Outdoor Championships by hitting "B" standard. He then set the school record with a time of 10.69 in the 100 meter dash.

Anderson and the V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, April 6 at the Mississippi River Rumble, hosted by the University of Dubuque.
