Field Events Lead V-Hawks at Meet of the UnSaintly

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team competed at the Hamline University (Minn.) Meet of the UnSaintly on Friday afternoon. The V-Hawks brought home four gold medals.

Justin Moore secured two first place finishes, clearing 1.95m (6-04.75) in the high jump, and leaping 7.40m (24-03.50) in the long jump.

Jalen Anderson easily claimed the crown in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 21.94 seconds, over a full second ahead of second place.

Gabe Holderby was the final individual champion, with a throw of 47.30m (155-02) in the javelin.

Colin Adams was just behind his teammate in the high jump, taking second with a height of 1.85m (6-00.75) and Dominic Marken was fourth, clearing 1.80m (5-10.75.)

In the long jump, it would be Marken taking third with a leap of 6.46m (21-0.550) and Adams in fifth (6.40m, 21-00.00).

Nathaniel Powell earned a bronze medal in the javelin with a throw of 32.23m (105-09) and Luke Lindstrom was fourth (26.38m, 86.06).

Nicholas Vollmar took fifth in two different events, the pole vault 3.85m (12-07.50) and the 110 meter hurdles (17.25).

The V-Hawks look ahead to the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) outdoor Championships starting on Thursday, May 11 in Dickinson, ND.
