Jenkins Named NSAA Field Athlete of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially announced the second edition of the Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, and Viterbo's Greg Jenkins was selected as the Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Jenkins, a Junior from Racine, Wis., earned a pair of podium finishes at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Open this weekend, including first place in the Long Jump with a leap of 6.73m (22' 1"), and third place in the High Jump, clearing 1.90m (6' 2.75")

This is Dryden's first Outdoor Athlete of the Week Award, but he has earned the honor twice in his indoor career.

Jenkins and the V-Hawks now look forward to the University of Dubuque Good Friday Open this Friday, April 7 at Douglas J. Miller Track in Dubuque, Iowa.
