Bio

Nick Pergande is in his second season coaching pole vault for Viterbo University Men's & Women's Track and Field team.

Prior to coming to Viterbo, Pergande coached 5 seasons (17-22) with Saint Mary’s University of MN and 3 seasons (06-09) with Winona State University. During that time he coached an NCAA D2 All American and 3 MIAC conference pole vault champions.

As an athlete, Pergande attended the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse (03-06). Where he was an NCAA D3 champion and two time runner up in the pole vault.

Always a student of the pole vault, he enjoys finding new ways of looking at and communicating the different elements of the vault, to help his athletes realize their fullest potential both on and off the field.
