Men's Track Competes at St. Olaf

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team finished in eighth place out of 12 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational with 24 teams points on Saturday.

Bethel University (Minn.) claimed the team title with 99 points.

Jalen Anderson took home the gold in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.18 seconds, and bronze in the 200, finishing in 22.87. His time of 7.12 in the 60 meter dash prelims was the fourth fastest time, but he did not run in the finals.

Darnell Williams also qualified for the 60 meter finals, taking sixth with his time of 7.16. Dominic Marken earned a pair of fifth place finishes in the high jump, clearing 1.80m (5' 10.75"), and the long jump with a mark of 6.25m (20' 6.25").

Viterbo returns to action on Saturday, February 3 at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invite.
