V-Hawks Compete at UW-La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team competed at the UW-La Crosse Pat Healy Classic on Saturday. The V-Hawks finished fourth out of five teams with 10 team points.
Jalen Anderson led the V-Hawks, scoring al 10 points when he won the 60-meter hurdles with a tine of 8.17 seconds, beating the NAIA "A" Standard.
Other top performers by the V-Hawks include Dominic Marken taking ninth in the high jump, clearing 1.80m (5-10.75), and 10th in long jump with a mark of 6.12m (20-01.00). Gabe Holderby added a ninth place finish in shot put with a throw of 12.67m (41-07.00), and Hunter Pickard was top-10 in triple jump, recording a mark of 12.15m (39-10.5).
The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, January 27 at the St. Olaf Invitational
