Anderson Sets School Record in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field competed at the Minnesota Indoor Classic on Friday afternoon.

Jalen Anderson led the way for the V-Hawks, taking third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.11 seconds that reached the NAIA "A" Standard, and broke his own school record. He also took fifth in the 200-meter with a "B" Standard time of 22.17, and recorded the second fastest preliminary 60-meter time, finishing in 6.91 and setting a new personal best, but did not run in the finals.

Gregory Jenkins collected a pair of silver medals, clearing 2.01 meters (6'7") in the high jump, and recording a mark if 6.91 meters in the long jump (22'8").

Dominic Marken took sixth in the high jump with a height of 1.88m (6'2") and Gabe Holderby took eighth in the shot put with a throw of 12.12m (39'9.25").
