Anderson and Jenkins Earn Gold Medals at Ripon

RIPON, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team scored 36 team points, finishing fifth out of 13 team at the Ripon College Dick Hendricks Invite on Saturday. It was the final regular season meet of the year for the V-Hawks.

Jalen Anderson led the V-Hawks, earning a pair of first place finishes. In the 200-meter dash, Anderson ran a 22.39, and in the 60-meter hurdles, he finished in 8.58.

Greg Jenkins led the V-Hawks in the field events, claiming the top spot in the triple jump with a distance of 13.40m (43-11.75), and finishing fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.92m (6-03.50).

The V-Hawks return to action on Sunday, February 19 at the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Indoor Championships.
