Field Events Lead V-Hawks in Ripon

RIPON, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team competed at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invite on Saturday, and claimed sixth place with 32 team points.

 Greg Jenkins claimed a pair of silver medals, one in the long jump (6.81m, 22-04.24), and one in the high jump (1.93m, 6-04.00). Teammate Dominic Marken was also fourth in the high jump at 1.88m (6-02), while fellow V-Hawk Javon Kunkel was fifth in the long jump (6.67m, 21-10.75).

Nicholas Vollmar was fifth in the pole vault, clearing 3.85m (12-07.5), while Gabe Holderby was seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.42m (40-09.00).

The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, November 11 at the UW-Platteville Invitational.
