V-Hawks Compete at Warren Bowlus Open
MENOMONIE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team competed at the Warren Bowlus Multi and Open Meet, hosted by UW-Stout on Saturday.
Gregory Jenkins led the way for the V-Hawks with first place finishes in both the Long Jump, 6.75 (22-01.75), and the High Jump, 1.96m (6-05.00).
Jalen Anderson ran the fastest time of the day in the 60-meter hurdles, with an 8.34 in the preliminaries, but was unable to run in the finals. He was also seventh in the long jump with a leap of 6.19m (20-03.75).
Nicolas Vollmar was sixth in the Pole Vault, clearing 3.80 (12-05.50), while Dominic Marken was seventh in the high jump at 1.81m (5-11.25) and ninth in the long jump with a distance of 5.92m (19-05.25).
The V-Hawks continue their season at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invite on Saturday, February 4.
