Three V-Hawks earn all-conference in day one of NSAA Championships

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The Viterbo University Men's Track and Field team completed their first day at the North Star Athletics Association (NSAA) Conference Championships on Thursday. After day one, the V-Hawks sit in fourth place with a total of 20 points.

Viterbo had three athletes receive all-conference honors after day one of the chamionships. 

Greg Jenkins placed second in the triple jump, soaring 14.02 meters. Jenkins came in as the No. 2 seed and kept his seed, gaining eight points for the V-Hawks. Damian Boberg improved upon his No. 5 seeding in the hammer throw, earning all-conference after placing third. He tossed the hammer 52.12 meters, setting a new personal record. David Aspenson also set a new personal record in the pole vault at 3.60 meters. The vault earned all-conference recognition and a third-place finish.
