Bio

Dunn is in his fifth season as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Viterbo. During his tenure, Dunn has accumulated a 35-25-3 (.579) overall record, while going 5-7 (.417) in conference play. He has coached nine All-Conference performers as well as the 2021 CAC Newcomer of the Year. 

In 2020, Dunn increased his win total for the fourth straight year, going 16-1-1, the most wins for Viterbo since 1999. The V-Hawks began the season with a tie, before rattling off 16 straight wins, outscoring their opponents 82-6 over that span. Viterbo made their second straight conference tournament while also leading the conference in goals scored. CAC Newcomer of the Year Aidan Radford led the team with 18 goals. 

The V-Hawks continued to improve in 2020, going 10-2 to reach double digit wins for the first time under Dunn, and the first time for Viterbo since 2009. It was also Dunn's first trip to the conference tournament, as they fell to Bellevue 2-1 in the conference semifinals.

His 2019 team took a major step forward by winning seven matches, more than double the amount of wins in the previous season. Viterbo's 5-3 overall record was the program's best eight-match start to the season since 1999. Freshman forward Andrew Weddle led the A.I.I. in goals scored (15) and was second in points (33). Weddle ranked 11th in the NAIA in game-winning goals (5). Goalkeeper Nate Regas ranked 29th in the nation in saves (93).

Dunn earned his first collegiate victory as a head coach. September 1, 2018 with a 1-0 neutral site win over Finlandia University. The V-Hawks rolled off three unanswered goals in the second half to complete a comeback win over Martin Luther on September 26.

Before coming to Viterbo, Dunn was an assistant coach at Purdue University Northwest from 2016-2017. He was men's and women's goalkeeper and assistant coach at his hometown Trine University for the 2015 season.

On the club level, Dunn coached the Chicago Fire Juniors South and Hobart Soccer Club teams from 2016-2018.

Dunn played NCAA Division I Men's Soccer at Valparaiso University (Ind.) as a midfielder from 2010-2013. He was a three-time recipient of the Valparaiso University Student-Athlete Presidential Honors. During the 2014 fall, Dunn served as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Crusaders.
