Ascenzo Named Final CCAC Defender of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has officially announced the final addition of its Men's Soccer Players of the Week, and Viterbo goalkeeper Ernesto Ascenzo has been selected as the Defensive Player of the Week.

The Lima, Peru native made 19 saves over two conference matchups, not letting up a sigle goal, recording he fifth and six shutout of the season. This is Ascenzo's fourth time winning the award, his second this season.

Ascenzo and the V-Hawks return to action Thursday November 7, as they host Olivet Nazarene for the opening round of the conference tournament.
