V-Hawks Compete at the NAIA Midwest Invite
SILVIS, Ill- The Viterbo Men's Golf team compete at the two-day NAIA Midwest Invite at TCP Deere Run where the team placed 23rd with a total score of 664 (+96).
Mount Mercy took home the team title with a total score of 582 (+14) with their own Theo Baker placing first for individuals with a total score of 136 (-6).
Ben Biskupski was the top golfer for the V-Hawks at the tournament with a total score of 163 (+21), which tied him for 89th place. Justin Kaczynski followed with a total score of 165 (+23) for a tie in 80th place. Keeping it close, Aaron Mork came in just one stroke behind his teammate for a total score of 166 (+24) and a tie for 89thplace. Tying for 101st place, Ethan Thomas came in with a total score of 170 (+28). Alex Samolinski was the fifth golfer for the team, and he brought in a total score of 177 (+35) which resulted in a tie for 109th place.
The V-Hawks will return to the tee box on Sunday, September 29 for the Waldorf Invitational at Wedgewood Cove in Albert Lea, Minn.
