V-Hawks Placed Third at the Battle of Waterloo
WATERLOO, IA- The Viterbo Men's Golf team competed at the Battle of Waterloo three round tournament located at Irv Warren Memorial GCS where the team took third place with a total score of 905 (+41).
Kirkwood Community College took home with team title with a total score of 851 (-13) with their own Quinn Tinkler taking 1st place with a total score of 201(-15).
Ben Biskupski was the top golfer for Viterbo, placing 6th with a total score of 221 (+5). Ethan Thomas was the next golfer for the V-Hawks with a total score of 229 (+13) and placed 14th. Tying each other for 16th place was JJ Kaczynski and Alex Samolinski both coming in with total scores of 231 (+15). Keeping it close to his teammates, Aaron Mork brought in a total score of 232 (+16) to place 18th.
Viterbo was able to bring five individuals along to this tournament. Steffen Larson, Kevin Ross, and Dalton Collins each came in with a total score of 249 (+33) which tied the three of them for 35th place. Tying for 40thplace, Jackson Schuh and Tyler Arenz both brought in a total score of 256 (+40).
The V-Hawks will return to action at the two-day Duhawk Invite at Meadows Golf Club in Asbury, IA on Sunday, September 15th.
