V-Hawks Rank Third After First Day of NSAA Championship
ONALASKA, Wis.- The Viterbo University Men's Golf team completed day 1 of the NSAA Conference meet on Monday, April 29. After the first round, the V-Hawks are in third out of sixth, with a current total score of 316 (+32).
Bellevue is at the top of the leaderboard with a total score of 290 (+6), with Cayden Wynne from Bellevue is leading the individual leaderboard coming in even for the day with a 71.
Brice Klabunde and Owen Bernstorf were the top golfers for Viterbo on day 1, both bringing in a total score of 77 (+6) which tied them for seventh place currently. Nick Tennis tied with his teammate, Ethan Thomas for 13th place first after day 1 with total scores of 81 (+10). Ben Biskupski was the final golfer for the V-Hawks, and he had a total score of 83 (+12) which tied him for 17th place.
The Viterbo Men's Golf team will return to action on the course on Tuesday, April 30 for day 2 of the NSAA Championship conference meet at Cedar Creek Golf Club.
