Men's Golf Beats Clarke in Match Play

The Viterbo men's golf team beat Clarke 56.5 to 51.5 Wednesday in a match play event at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, WI.

Aaron Raabe, who earned 11.5 points out of a possible 18 in his match, shot an even-par 35 on the back nine to lead the V-Hawks.   Viterbo got outstanding contributions from all six varsity players.   Nick Tennis (11), Brice Klabunde (9.5) and Noah Nelson (9.5) all won their matches.   Andy Odom (8) and Owen Bernstorf (7) also played well.

In the match-play format each hole is worth one point for a win, and ½ point for a tie.

Next action for the V-Hawk men is scheduled for April 18-19 at the Mount Mercy Spring Invitational.
