Viterbo Competes at Wrigglesworth Invitational

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Golf team placed eighth out of 16 total teams at the UW-Eau Claire Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational this weekend. The V-Hawks scored 315 points on day one and 324 on day two for a total score of 639. They were four stokes ahead of UW-Stout (B) in ninth place, and 13 strokes behind Stout for seventh.

UW-Eau Claire were the team champions with a score of 587 (296, 291), and Carson Brock of UW-Eau Claire was the individual champion with a score of 145 (72, 73).

Owen Bernstorf and Sam Dobbins were the top scorers for Viterbo, having identical scores of 159 (75, 84), which tied the, for 33^rd. Nicholas Tennis tied for 39^th with a mark of 160 (83, 77), Brice Klabunde was two strokes behind him at 162 (83, 79) for 46^th, and Andy Odom was the final scorer, tied for 74^th at 171 (82, 89).

Aaron Raabe competed as an individual, and was the highest scorer in this category, tying for 25^th with a score of 156, (78, 78).

The V-Hawks continue their season on Thursday September 22 at the Edelweiss Match Play.
