V-Hawks Place Fourth at Kirkwood Eagle Spring Classic
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Viterbo Men's Golf placed fourth of six teams at the Eagle Spring Classic hosted by Kirkwood Community College at Hunters Ridge Golf Course on Sunday and Monday. The V-Hawks were in fifth place after round one, but jumped Southeastern Community College in round two.
Eric Olson (SR/Onalaska, Wis.) placed 16th individually with a two-round score of 155. His best round off 77 came on Monday.
Ricky Speltz (JR/Minnesota City, Minn.) placed tied for 22nd with a score of 160. Jake Schroeckenthaler (FR/Cottage Grove, Wis.) followed with a 24th place finish after a score of 163.
