V-Hawks Compete in Leatherneck
Rockford, Ill. – The Viterbo University Men's Bowling team competed at Leatherneck this past weekend. The V-Hawks varsity finished 14 out of 40 teams with a total of 8003 pins, while JV placed 15 of 19 with 7125 pins.
Brandon Bohn from Webber International took down the highest total of pins at 1267 with an average of 253.4 pins clinching first place for the individuals.
Brayton Fandrich led the V-Hawks, with a total of 1047 pins over five games for an average of 209.4, placing 40th of 385 bowlers.
Nate Arias was the next V-Hawk finisher totaling 1046 pins (209.2 average) over five games placing 43rd. Knocking 194 pins (194 average), Anthony Pope followed in 102nd place. In 138th Austin Calmes would total 909 pins (181.8 average) over five games. The final varsity V-Hawk finishers were Rylan Schneider knocking 768 pins over four games, and Mason Barsness with 213 in one game.
Seth Bailey totaling 906 pins would be the first finisher for the second Viterbo team. Bowling four games Brandon Kantola and Isaiah Ray finished next with 787 and 701 pins respectively. Caden Schmitting finished next with 694 pins, the final V-Hawk would finish just two pins behind with 692, Alex Dahlin.
The V-Hawks return to action December 18 at the Glen Carlson Las Vegas Invitational.
