V-Hawks Finish Regular Season at Home

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Bowling team hosted their home Invitational last weekend. The V-Hawks finished third out of seven teams with 7814 pins, 4842 coming in the individual games, and 2990 coming in Baker games.

UW-Stout won the tournament with a total of 8039, while Corbin Vines of UW-La Crosse won the individual title.

Mikey Voge and Nathan Arias each had their best performances of the year, averaging 210.6 (1053) and 207 (1035) pins over five games, respectively. Calvin Schneider and Austin Calmes were less one pin apart in their averages, as Schnider totaled 923 (184.6) and Calmes was at 919 (183.8) after five. Mason Barsness played three games, totaling 547 pins (182.33 average), and in one game apiece, Seth Bailey totaled 200 pins and Erik Ludden posted 147.

The V-Hawks have qualified for the USBC Sectional Meet, March 8-10.
