V-Hawks Compete at Clarke Invite

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Viterbo University Men's Bowling team competed at the Clarke University (Iowa) Invitational, held at Cherry Lanes, this past weekend. The V-Hawks finished sixth out of 10 teams with a total of 7244 pins, with 4465 coming from team scoring, and 2779 in the baker games.

Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) won the team championship, totaling 8016 pins, and Keaten Bieri of Culver-Stockton was the individual champion scoring 1056 over five games.

Calvin Schneider was the top performer for the V-Hawks, taking sixth place out of 89 competitors, as he averaged 205.2 pins over five games for a total of 1026. Mikey Voge knocked 820 pins over his five games for an average of 164, placing him 30^th.

Finishing 50^th, Austin Calmes played four games, averaging 165.75 pins for a total of 663, while Mason Barsness, 56^th, made the most of his three games, averaging 205.33 and totaling 616. Erik Ludden and each played three games as well, totaling 519 (173 average, 66^th) and 486 (162 average, 69^th), respectively. Seth Bailey was the final V-Hawk to compete, with 335 pins over his two games (167.5 average, 79^th).
