Schneider Leads V-Hawks at UW-Stout Open

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Viterbo Men had a great performance at the Stout Open hosted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Men qualified in first place with a total pin fall of 8252, averaging 897 per game before moving into bracket play.

Leading the men in individual games was Calvin Schneider, finishing 4th place in the tournament with a 192 average over 6 games. Following behind him was Nate Arias with a 189 average, and Austin Calmes with a 174 average. The Viterbo men finished in 4th place on Saturday with a lot of ground to cover.

Viterbo lead the pack on Sunday, jumping from 4th to first with a lead of 272 pins from second place. Calvin Schneider led baker play with a 94% fill with Nate Arias following closely behind with a 88% fill. After qualifying games, the V-Hawk men entered bracket play. The Men had a by in the first round, waiting to see the outcome of the first round. Their first match was against UW-Stout. Viterbo lost to Stout 2-1, eliminating them from bracket play.

The V-Hawks will be traveling October 28th to compete in their second GLBC tournament in Madison, Wis.
