Men's Bowling Competes at First Conference Tournament

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's Bowling Team traveled to Ashwaubenon Wisconsin to compete in their first conference tournament of the year, the Great Lakes Bowling Conference (GLBC). They had a rough first conference tournament, finishing 11th out of 16 teams total wit 7137 points.

Nathanial Arias averaged 193 pins per game over 5 games. Following behind him, Austin Calmes and Calvin Schneider averaged 171 pins per game. In their conference stand offs, the men went 3-2 on Saturday.

Continuing on Sunday, the men averaged 173 over 16 games. Erik Ludden had a 88% fill rate over the day, followed closely by Austin Calmes with a 76% fill rate. The V-Hawks went 6-3 in their conference games over the entire weekend. This is the first of four conference tournaments for the V-Hawk men, with their next one on October 28th.

The V-Hawks next tournament is on October 21st at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Open.
