V-Hawks in Eighth After Titan Invite Day 1

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Bowling team finished the first day of the Titan Invitational in eighth place out of 15 teams with a score of 5163 on Saturday. Colby Hietpas of UW-Oshkosh was the individual champion with a score of 1226 (254, 224, 198, 198, 171, 181).

Brayton Fandrich was the top performer for the V-Hawks, coming in 15^th out of 121 bowlers with a score of 1100, including a 204 in the fourth game. Calvin Schneider came in 35^th at 971 in just five games played, eclipsing 200 with a 203 in the final game. Matthew Wejrowski finished 54^th with 847 over five games, also reaching 202 in the final game, and finishing just ahead of teammate Michael Voge, who scored 833 in five games. Erik Ludden's score of 553 over three games finished 88^th, and Austin Calmes and Mason Barsness each played three games, finishing 98^th and 100th with 441 and 437 respectively.

The Titan invitational continues on Sunday with bracket play.
