V-Hawks Fall in Final Regular Season Game

GARY, Ind. – The Viterbo University Men's Basketball fell to Indiana University Northwest ___ in their final regular season game Saturday afternoon. The V-Hawks finish 9-18 (7-13 CCAC) while the Red Hawks sit at 22-6(16-4CCAC).

Quick on the jump, Cole Crubel would open the game with four points, before Christian Rohde dished the ball to Landon Thousand for three, then dunking to go up four on the Red Hawks. Colin Adams and Cole Crubel would hit threes a minute apart keeping a narrow lead. Braden Crubel would take two jumpers before Rohde would pass the ball to C. Crubel for the three then drive in for the layup.

In a battle for the lead, Jack Voigt would make back to back layups followed by B. Crubel with four. Adams hitting a three before grabbing the offensive rebound sent Thousand to the line to knock down both free throws.  B. Crubel with another layup before dishing the ball to C. Crubel for three. With less than a minute to go Thousand would hit one last three of the regular season.

C. Crubel led the V-Hawks with 17, B. Crubel with 15, and Adams with 10. Anthony Taylor led the Red hawks with 19. 

The V-Hawks were outshot from the floor 49.2% to 43.9% and from three 42.1% to 36.4.

CCAC Conference Tournament standing and schedule will be released following the conclusion of the regular season.
