Monis Named NSAA Player of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association has officially announced the eighth edition of their Men's Basketball Player of the Week, and Viterbo's Jack Monis has been selected for the award. This is Monis' first time receiving the honor this season.

Monis, and Oconomowoc, Wis. native, led the V-Hawks with a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double while shooting above 50% form the field, as Viterbo mounted a 24-point comeback in the second half of their game at Dakota Wesleyan University (SD) on Wednesday night. He also recorded one assist, steal and block. This game got the V-Hawks back in the win column following a seven-game losing streak.

Viterbo returns to action on Wednesday, January 10 as they host Waldorf University (Iowa) in their first NSAA conference game of the year.
