Monis snags second consecutive NSAA Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week honor

BISMARK, N.D. - The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has selected Jack Monis as its Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the conference on Monday. This is Monis' second week in a row earning the title. 

Monis shot 70.8 percent overall from the field (17-of-24 field goals) as Viterbo (Wis.) went 1-1 record for the weekend. He was near perfect from the field after scoring 23 points, making 11 baskets in 12 attempts (91.7 percent) in V-Hawks' 84-70 victory over Valley City State (N.D.). He also had five rebounds in the game. He followed up with 16 points and eight rebounds, despite an 84-71 defeat to Dickinson State (N.D.). For the week, Monis averaged 19.5 points (39 total points) and 6.5 rebounds (13 rebounds) per game.
