Overwtach Qualifies for Playoffs

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Esports Overwatch team finished the regular season by going 2-1, including a pair of 3-0 sweep victories over Louisiana State University, and Glenville State University (WV). The V-Hawks also lost 0-3 to Concordia.

Viterbo defeated LSU in such a dominating manor, they did not even suffer an elimination on the second map. Their loss to Concordia came in part due to playing with a substitute instead of their full team.

With these wins, the V-Hawks officially qualified for the Playoffs in their first semester of competitive play. The V-Hawks take on Keiser University-Jacksonville (Fla.) on Tuesday, March 28.
