Overwatch Suffers First Loss of the Season

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Esports team lost its first Overwatch match in program history to Marietta College on Tuesday. The V-Hawks lost 0-3 in three close matches.

Game One was Control played on Busan, and the Pioneers claimed the win 1-0. In game two Marietta won a game of Hybrid played on Paraiso. The game was tied 2-2, going down to the wire before the Pioneers won 3-2. The final match was Escort, played on Junkertown. The V-Hawks would lose another nail biter, 4-5.

The Overwatch team looks to redeem the loss on Tuesday, February 28 against Keiser University – Sarasotta (Fla.)
