V-Hawks Set Hip Hop Record in Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Competitive Dance team competed at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on Saturday. The V-Hawks took second out of three teams with a Hip-Hop routine record score of 84.7.
UW-La Crosse took 1st place with a score of 88.4, while Northern Michigan University was third at 75.4.
"This was a great competition to wrap up our first semester of competing," said Head Coach Anna Luz. "This team continues to break records with our Competitive Hip Hop routine against tough competition. Our final competition with this routine will be at the Wisconsin State Dance Competition on Saturday, February 3rd where we will see many of the same teams we've competed against these past 2 weekends. We're excited for the chance to extend our season and finish up in La Crosse!"
The V-Hawks highest individual score came in at 87.5, with another at 86.2.
Viterbo returns to action after the new year.
