V-Hawks Top Defending National Champions

SEWARD, Neb. – The Viterbo University Dance team competed at the Concordia University (Neb.) Day of Duals and split a pair of matchups.

The V-Hawks defeated Morningside University (Iowa), the defending national champions in the first matchup of the day, 83.35-81.1.

In the latter matchup of the competition, Viterbo fell to Midland University (Neb.), 85.7-89.85.

"The team continues to improve their score with each performance!" said Head Coach Anna Luz. "In the coming weeks we will be focusing on cleaning and perfecting the routine. All of the small details really add up at this point in the season."

The V-Hawks will compete at the Dordt University (Iowa) Invitational on Saturday, February 18.
