V-Hawks Compete at Midland

FREMONT, Neb. – The Viterbo University Dance team finished in third place with a team score of 62.45 on Saturday afternoon when they competed at the Midland University Invitational. The host Midland Warriors claimed first, and Hope International University (Calif.) placed second.

The V-Hawks raw score came in at 125.90, their average was 62.95, and they had .5 points of deductions. Midland scored 86.00 and Hope International was barely ahead of Viterbo at 64.50.

"The first competition of the season is always the toughest, and we're glad to have started with a great performance!" Said Head Coach Anna Luz. "The judges gave extensive feedback which will guide us in our upcoming practices."

The V-Hawks host their first home competition in program history next weekend, on Saturday, January 28.
