Competitive Dance earned program-record high score
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Viterbo University Competitive Dance team continued their historic season on Saturday with their second-place finish at the Dordt University Dance Invitational.
The team earned a score of 89.5, beating out their previous top score in program history. The only team that beat out the V-Hawks was Morningside University, who finished only 0.37 points ahead of Viterbo to finish out in front.

"We're very happy with our score of 89.5 - program record!," said Head Dance Coach Anna Luz. "One of our goals for this season was to score an 88, so we accomplished that today. This is a great confidence boost heading into Regionals next weekend. We're currently ranked 3rd in our Region, but today we scored only .37 below Morningside, who is currently ranked 1st in the region. The competition is extremely tight."
