V-Hawks shift focus to NSAA Tournament after dropping final regular-season series

FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Viterbo University Baseball team completed their regular-season schedule on Friday afternoon. The V-Hawks fell to Waldorf each game in the four-game series.

The Viterbo offense struggled to get going in the first three games, scoring three runs on 16 hits through the first 25 innings of the series. In game four, the offense improved as Blake Warner and Collin Hucke each hit home runs to get the team going. The two combined for five of the team's seven RBIs, but it was not enough to get the win.

The Viterbo Baseball team will now shift their focus toward the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Conference Tournament. The tournament kicks off on Friday in Forest City, Iowa at Waldorf University. Game times and team matchups will be released later this week.
